Our date begins at 6:00 PM. I greet you at the door with a big smile on my face. I am so happy to see you.
You are carrying a bottle of fine wine, and a single rose. I am delighted, and I kiss you softly on the cheek.
I ask you in, and I lead you into the sitting room.
The most memorable occassions begin and end in candlelight. The atmosphere in the room is very romantic. There are candles lit everywhere, and the lights are dim. The music is playing softly, and the house is filled with the aroma of our dinner cooking.The anticipation of what is to come is exciting.
I walk over to the wetbar, and retrieve 2 wine glasses, a caraffe, and a corkscrew. I carry them over to the table, uncork the wine, and pour it into the caraffe. You pour us each a glass, and you say "I'd like to make a toast. Here's to a memorable and beautiful evening, with the chance of many more to come." I smile at you, and our glasses gently "clink" together, and we both take a sip of wine to consomate the toast.
I tell you "There is still time before dinner. I have prepared a few hors d'oeuvres and set them on the table on the terrace. Would you like to go out and watch the sunset?" You look at me and smile, and you say "There is nothing like watching a beautiful sunset with someone you care about." You take my hand, and we walk out onto the terrace, carrying our wine with us.
