The Floor Store (October 2003)

This building was remodeled using Southern Yellow Pine.
The woodwork was finished with clear polyurethane.
The Floor Store

The waynescoat is a two sided tongue and groove pattern.
The "beaded" side was used for the majority of the store.
To maintain contenuity the foyer was wainecoated using the"V" joint side of the board. The railing for the wainescoating consist of a rake mould where the pattern was inverted from the traditional cove to a convex radius and topped with a 5/4 x 6 stair tread. The top cap for out cropped walls is a 1 x4 with on rounded edge
