A Warming Touch

You reached into my cold, cold heart,
With a warm and tender touch,
Such warmth, you placed deep inside,
A warmth, I needed much.

With kindness, you have given me,
Too much love to hold,
The fervor of your gentle hand,
None else, would be so bold.

You had to feel the aching chill,
Of my stone cold heart,
But you pushed on, without fear,
And broke the ice, apart.

If love could grow, inside my heart,
After so much pain,
You could make a flower, bloom,
Without a drop of rain.

You touched my heart, with healing hands,
And made my days, so bright,
Love grows now, where all was lost,
The end, to endless night.
