I've seen the bare vacuity,
Of a heart that can't believe.
The emptiness of a cold, cold heart,
For hope, there's no reprieve.
A darkness vast and frightening,
That one hardly can conceive,
A wall so tall and anchored,
No love can you receive.
Where now, is
your apathy?
And have you gone insane?
How long can this existence,
Bear such scorching pain?
And how long, can you endure,
The never ending rain,
With nothing but aversion,
To fuel your disdain?
There's nothing
left to offer,
That you would understand,
There's no love left, inside your heart,
It's such a barren land,
A love that once had blossomed,
Can no longer stand,
In a heart so empty,
Or in a place so bland.
