Hi, welcome to my home page. My name is Nick Foo. I am a SAP R/3 Certified Technical BASIS Consultant and SAP Certified OS/DB Migration Consultant based in Singapore with almost 5 years of SAP BASIS experience. Throughout my SAP consultancy career, I have gone through multiple SAP implementation projects, installing and managing SAP systems on Windows, UNIX and Linux platforms, on various databases like Oracle, SQLServer, SAP DB. I have also conducted SAP Basis courses as well as Basis Academy at SAP Education Centers for the past couple of years throughout the region in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Beijing and Taipei.
What is BASIS? Unlike all the functional modules of SAP like FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, etc, BASIS is the technical aspect of SAP, and Basis Consultants are in charge of installing, maintaining and upgrading SAP systems as well as handle all technical aspects of the SAP Systems. It is a highly technical and challenging job indeed.
