In the school year 1996/1997  1335 candidates applied at the University of 
Tetova, of which 115 candidates did not pass the enrollment exam and were not 
accepted.

The University of Tetova has a total of 2513 students in three academic years.

(*) The School of Pedagogy has been made an autonomous school with three 
departments.
(**) The Schools of Computer Science, Pharmacy and Physical Education have 
started working in 1996/1997.
