Isn't life wonderful? There are so many experiences and wonderful people out there. And daily, we are given the blessing of life. I am so thankful for all da bomb people God has placed in my life. I have an ever increasing peace of the goodness of God. I know that true contentment lies not in our perfect circumstances but in our attitude towards life.................
Contentment is backed by experience- by the things we have suffered. By our tears and our weeping, by our sorrow and our pain. Contentment is backed by rain.
Contentment is backed by experience- by the things we have enjoyed. By our laughter and our joy, by smiles and good times. Contentment is backed by sunshine.
Contentment is backed by experience- by the things we have done. By our good and bad choices, by love and strife. Contentment is backed by life.
Contentment is backed by experience- by realizing the importance of what we have lived. By gleaning truth and hope, by happiness in adversity. Contentment is backed by diversity.
Here is my 85 year old Grandma Iris.
A scripture I love: "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord,' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13
Remember: Don't cross your bridges until you get to them. We spend our lives defeating ourselves crossing bridges we never get to.
Rachel and I in June, 1999.
Here is an assortment of pictures from my sister Rachel's wedding in March 1998,which was, as one could imagine, quite an experience. The first wedding in the family. Adam could get married whenever he finds the one, but as for me, I am on the 5 year plan....
