1. Stephen King = The Stand.....of course you knew that

2. Stephen King = IT .......you mightv'e thought it was first, you were wrong

3. Anne Rice = The Mummy...nuff said

4. Dean R Koontz = The Watchers.....my first Koontz book, very entertaining.

5. Piers Anthony = On A Pale Horse....he writes rather childish, but for a teen it is VERY good reading.

6. Mr.Webster = Dictionary...good read for anyone.

7. Dr. Suess = Sam I Am....it rhymes real cool

8. OK, thats it. I give up, I cannot think of anything else, but believe me these really are the best books around, there is no need to even look at those other people, they will just give you names and authors of other books, that aren't as good as my list.
