I am
not sure that I have 10 favorites. You see I have been a snob about
reading until the last two yrs or so. Read the same stuff over and
over.
1. The Stand by Stephen King. I like this because of the good vs. evil theme and I like all of the characters. They each have their own strengths
2. Different Seasons by Stephen King. The stories are just good
3. Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is a new favorite of mine—thanks James.
4. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Very interesting story.
5. It by Stephen King.
6. The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. Wonderful.
7. The Book of Ruth by jane Hamilton. It has a twist at the end---total suprise to me
8. She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb. Funny and I can see a lot of myself in it
9. This favorite is a children’s book called Tacky the Penguin. Gives a child the
idea it is ok to be an individual. i really like that. Written by Lester Munsinger
My last favorite will seem a little strange (well maybe a lot) to some people. It is The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule. It tells the story of Ted Bundy. She worked with him on a crisis line. I have always wanted to read one of those true crime books and have someone tell me why. I think this book is as close as I will get to that.
