I thought I would voice my side of this discussion, I understand the "frustration" of someone stealing your "artistic talent". What I dont understand is how someone can sit in judgment of others accusing them of 'Theft' when they themselves have done the same thing. Did anyone pay these people or even ask to use thier faces or bodies?..No you stole thier pictures and claim that they are yours? It is a case of "The Pot Calling the Kettle Black"...so to speak. I myself spend hours in front of my computer searching the internet for those special pictures that no one has found yet to make into an avatar to add to my avatar pages. I also have 100's a day come through my avatar painting page. I post some of these on my avatar pages as well. In addition, I have a disclaimer saying that some of them are from other sites and how I came by them. I could have just renamed them and claimed them to be my "Own Creations" but that would be dishonest. I am not that kind of person. The main reason we started the
avatar pages and the Avatar Painting page is for helping people who come into VP to find that special face or body part(lol) that they can identify and relate with. I enjoy the people in VP and meeting new friends from around the world, I find it fascinating that people can be whatever they want to be where there are no boundaries, no limitations and no one telling them it cant be so. I myself find satisfaction in performing this function I thought others did too....
