I recently upgraded to Win98 and luckily had Netscape Communicator on my system or I would have been totally confused.

VP doesn't support the newer versions of the MSIE 4 browser. As an example, my version now reads 4.72.3110.

I was somewhat suprised to see my Netscape browser as the VP default, so I uninstalled it from my system.

That's when I got the message from VP that I was attempting to connect with an unknown browser. It won't (at least for me) connect with the MSIE browser that was installed by Win98.

If you do upgrade to Win98, I'd recommend having Communicator installed on your system as well, or you may not be able to enter the community. Anybody else have the problem or a better solution?
