We don't really have a solution for you but we thouht that we'd reply anyway just so that you know you are not alone. Many visitors to our site as well as friends of ours have tried to go to VP to either download the VPlaces program or to upgrade their current version, but VPlaces server is not functioning properly. Sometimes the homepage will come up but none of the links or downloads will work. Other times, nothing will come up at all. If we find out what's going on, we'll let you know k?
