Once again she is hurt
By another heartless guy
She thought of their past
As he laughed and said good bye

Once again she was fooled
By a man who doesn't care
She knew it would happen
She was told to beware

Once again she has lost
Her dreams have been shattered
Her heart has been broke
She has again been battered

Once again she was cheated
He has ruined her life
All she wanted from him
Was to be his wife


The End of the World

Darkness covers the Earth
The wind begins to howl
The end of the world is coming
Rivers are beginning to rise
Mountains are starting to tremble
The end of the world is coming
Thunder rolls over the land
Lightning brightens the sky
The end of the world is coming
Flowers have started to wilt
Crops are not growing green
Then end of the world is coming
Children are crying in pain
Babies have stopped being born
The end of the world is coming
Hearts have begun to stop
Life has suddenly ended
The end of the world is coming


The Mailbox

You could have died today
I could have lost you forever
Thank God you're here
What thoughts raced through your mind
At the moment it happened
Were you scared?
Did you think of me?
Did you worry about what I would do without you?
Did you pray for God to save you?
So close to death
But you're alive
God could have killed you
He still can
You never know how good life is
Till you come face to face with death
"Till death do us part"

Sorrow is gray
It tastes like moldy bread
It sounds like children screaming in pain
It smells like a horrid skunk
It looks like a black floating mist
And makes me feel depressed

It might be better next time

It has been torn apart
It has been thrown away
