I first started planning SEGs when I was 5 years old. Here's a picture of what I envisioned. (Click HERE.) Mom! Thanx for keeping that picture in the hallway for SO many years. I love you.
In actuality, SEGs are not usually quite as acrobatic as the scene depicted in the picture. See some ideas and brainstorms below. Then, at the bottom of this page, you will find a link to my SEGs International Discussion group. This is an unmoderated mailing list where you can share your experiences, brainstorms, and announcements related to sensual gatherings.
If you live in (or visit) the King County / Seattle area, you may be interested in a separate unmoderated e-mail ist (seasegs) which has been setup specifically for that area. Click HERE to join.
- Body castings:
(Thanks to an Anonymous reader for the idea)
Paper mache is nice. Latex, if anyone can share the skills for it. Several body parts would be nice to have in latex, inclding breasts and erections. This be fun to do as a one-to-many.- Playing in Oil:
I see this potentially as a sort of "massage in motion".- Playing in Soapy water
- Everyone washing everyone
- Everyone washing one person
- Groups of 3 or 4 washing each other.
- Playing in mud
- Blind Dance:
Drummers (and/or chanters) form a circle. One person gets in the middle... and we blindfold him/her. One other person (not-blindfolded) enters circle to be a a sort of "guide dog". The drummers play. The blindfolded person moves about as he/she is inspired to do. The guidedog makes sure that he/she doesn't bump into anything that would hurt (like a drum). Different people take turns being in the middle of the circle.- Blind Sculptor:
(Thanks to an Anonymous person for the great contribution!)
3 people, One is blind folded, He/She is "the sculptor". One takes a pose, He/she is the "model". The third person is the clay. The sculptor uses the model as a frame of reference, then attempts to mold the clay into a figure of the same shape.- Massage exchange, using sounds, fragrances, fruits, feathers, applying massage with other parts of body besides hands
- Feather frenzy: One person enters into middle of circle nude (optional), Blindfolded (optional). Other members use feathers on him/her.
- Angel walk: People walk blindfolded (optional) through human tunel and are guided through with touch, sound, etc...
- Sparce drum jam. Very sparce, Emphasize is on listening to each othe. Persons may use their voices instead of drums. People can express their thoughts, feelings, passions rythmically. Persons inspired to move about (dance) are encouraged to do so.
- Chanting circle: Optionally, one person lays in middle of circle and chanters make the tones swarm around that person. (Suggestion: use the persons name as the mantra.)
- Orchestra of emotions: This is much like a drama class exercise. One person acts as the conductor. Several other members are predesignated to represent specific emotions. the conductor cues them, starting... stopping.... intensifying.. I've seen this done before... but never participated... I know it can be lots of fun.
- Body painting.
- Humungous group hug.
- Clothing optional dance.
- Feed me:
This is a mini-potluck in which you are NOT allowed to feed yourself, you must request of someone else that they feed you. Fruits and vegetables and other finger foods would be optimal- Feed off of me:
Mini-potluck where food is placed on, then eaten off of partipants naked (or semi-naked) bodies. Mmmmm... Mashed potatoes have never tasted so good!- More contributions from an anonymous reader.
If you live in the Seattle area, you may want to check out my SEGs on Capitol Hill sometime.
Thanks!
