2003 is the 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH of GEORGES SIMENON in Liège, Belgium. The commemoration will last throughout the year in the French-speaking part of Belgium. This anniversary is the opportunity for the publication of new essays and documents on Simenon, mainly in French, and for the organization of many special events in Belgium.
