Album notes: |
At the time the album was released, "Your Love" was a track exclusive to the Canadian release. It was subsequently released on the Jim Brickman-produced compilation, "Visions Of Love." Besides the bonus track, the albums were also packaged differently. The U.S. version was packaged in a special DigiPak; the Canadian version came in a jewel case. Several tracks on this CD feature guest performers. "Your Love" features country singer Michelle Wright; "The Gift" features vocals by Collin Raye and Susan Ashton; Kenny Loggins does the lead vocals on "Starbright"; and "Hope Is Born Again" features Point of Grace. Three other tracks are new versions of songs Jim previously recorded. While "Joy To The World" appeared on the Windham Hill compilation "A Winter's Solstice V," the version on "The Gift" is a completely new recording. "Dreams Come True" is a re-recorded holiday version of the track on "Picture This", which among other things, includes a new soprano saxophone part by Norbert Stachel. And an piano-solo version of "Starbright" is on the "Picture This" album, but under a different name, "Sweet Dreams." |

Album notes: |
This "greatest hits" album is available only in Asia. The Philippine release contains two exclusive bonus tracks. "In A Lover's Eyes" is a special vocal version, performed by Ariel Rivera. The track is taken from Rivera's album entitled: "Getting To Know." The original piano-solo version is included on Jim's "By Heart" album. The second bonus track is a special live recording of "Rainbow Connection" in which Jim sings the vocals. The track was recorded in Manila during his concert there in October 1997. The version on this disc is different than the one included on the limited edition version of Jim's "Destiny" album. The version of "By Heart" included on this album is different from the one included on current U.S. versions of Jim's "By Heart" album. The version included here is the original version, featuring just Jim Brickman and Laura Creamer. It was included on the initial versions of the "By Heart" album. Current U.S. versions of the "By Heart" album, though, include the radio version of the song, a faster re-recording with drum and guitar parts. Koren versions of the album include two CDs. The second disc features two exclusive bonus tracks: "Se No Ya" and "All By Myself." The Singapore version includes one exclusive track: "Wang Yue." |

"Wang Yue" is Chinese for "gazing at the moon." This track, composed by Lee Wei Shiong, is exclusive to the Singapore release. Philippine versions of this album contain several different tracks. Instead of "Wang Yue," it features two exclusive bonus tracks, "In A Lover's Eyes" sung by Ariel Rivera, and "Rainbow Connection" sung by Jim Brickman as recorded during his Manila concert in October 1997.
