We all start out walking through this life all alone,
Searching for that one that we can call our own.
For some people love is so easy to find,
Others look everywhere going out of their mind.
Love is something no words can really explain,
But without it in our lives we would all go insane.
Control is just an illusion in this life of ours,
For our destiny is already written in the stars.
Love is unexplainable in more than one way,
Who we fall in love with we really have no say.
The heart won't listen, you can't make it fall,
You have no control over who you love at all.
So we go through life always seaching for,
The one that can make our heart race and soar.
Not knowing where to find them, or even their name,
But we keep on searching for them just the same.
For love is the one thing that makes life worth living,
Finding that someone to whom our heart will keep giving.
True love is a mystery to those who have never felt,
The way it has of making even the coldest heart melt.
Many have tried to find the words to describe how it feels,
But mere words are inadequate to the task they try to fill.
Love is more than just a feeling, it makes your heart sing,
There is no way to tell you about this wondrous thing.
You have to find out for yourself about this thing called love,
It is a rare treasure, a gift given to us from heaven above.
You will know when it hits you, of that there is no mistake,
Thought of that special person will your mind overtake.
Not to meantion the ache you feel when they're not around,
Or how your hearts will talk to each other without making a sound.
Those who have found love will tell you it is real,
Love conquers the tallest mountains and every hurt it can heal.
So don't give up on finding this thing we all need,
One day when you least expect it, it will bring you to your knees.
On your heart, body and soul it will make it's mark,
Love will shine it's light and it's warmth on your heart.
Life has a way of teaching us to build up our walls,
Love has a way of making every one of them fall.
It's everything you expect it to be and so much more,
True love is unconditional and will touch your very core.
It can also sometimes make us crazy and bring us pain,
But it is worth it in the end because of everything we gain.
So we go on with life's search each and every day,
And when the day is over, every night each of us pray,
That God will guide us safely down life's winding roads,
And lead us to that special someone we were meant to hold.
When this life is over and we all look back on the past,
May we all have found the love that for all eternity will last.
