HOLY CRAP! oh man, these are the most beautiful words I have ever heard in my life:
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends with the start of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday.
That means that I only have 6 days left, not 9!!!! YAY! Candle shopping, here I come! Pomegranate rose, Ruby, Dogwood Blossom, Jasmine Waterlily, Persian Lilac.....
And APPARENTLY, Lent doesn't include Sundays in the western church. Which means that I could possibly plead with Parsons to stop 3 or 4 days earlier since I haven't taken sundays off from my giving up shopping. But I have a feeling the boy will just retort that if I'm playing a basketball game and I decide to practice shooting hoops during the breaks, then they're still not gonna add to the score. Dang... next time I follow a religious practice I'm gonna make sure I actually know more about it! All of those Sundays.... wasted...
