Ahhhhhh! So much to write. Let's see. Been working heaps... June 5 - got my hair cut and colored by the wonderful Joe and Casey down at Salon Solis on Queen St (I sound like a walking advertisement for them!) Went red this time - they did highlights and a red rinse so now I'm a redhead! Helped Marianne move in afterwards to her new apartment - basically lots of unpacking and shepherding her around... eg. nagging her to put stuff on her bookcase and put her clothes away! It will look FABULOUS when it's done.
June 6 - Alicia's birthday!!! Had to work so went over afterwards with gifts and all... her, Lorien, Emily and I ended up at Fez Batik which has the BEST Purple Fucks... oh man. First had one at Una Mas when Jon the bartender still worked there back in December... but Fez beats it completely. It was an amusing night!! Lots of fun. Didn't get into My Apartment as the original plan because apparently I looked "shady" and didn't have two pieces of ID. Hello, I'm a girl, and I wasn't wearing much - where would I put it?? ANyways, Fez was awesome. We were out on the patio after the live "talent show"... I say "talent show" because one was talented and the rest were not. But lots of fun and lots of laughs... so we were on the patio when this guy who had a head brace on comes over and starts to chat. Long story short he introduces Lorien to his cute friend... so we're all inside dancing and this hot guy walks behind me and I turned as he passed and smiled at him. He stopped, smiled back and said "hey.." and goes downstairs. Alicia, Emily and I went to get the jackets from downstairs and as we're walking up he's walking behind us.. and me being me decides to do my "ass thing" and strut a little. We get to the top of the stairs and start dancing again and the next thing I know he's behind me and says "I like your heels". So we danced for a bit, and I couldn't believe how hot he was. We said bye and he comes back 5 seconds later to ask what my star sign was... He's an Aries. Yep.. dunno his name but he's an Aries. SO it was a good night. I also got told that I have beautiful eyes which meant definite ego boost - but then guys lie after 8 drinks. haha.. anyways, Lorien and Jamie (guy with the head brace)'s friend hit it off and now he's being silly and observing the 3 day rule. Ahhhh... crazy boy.
June 7 - worked...
June 8 - Lorien and Alicia's housewarming with GOOD food from Joy and June... man... pineapple, banana, chocolate chip cake. SOOOOOO YUMMY! I swear.
June 4 - met up with Marianne, Mike, Mel and Sanford down in Little Italy for some YUMMY dessert!!!
And that brings us to today! Whew. I was so happy this morning.. I had class and this time my hot T.A. did the whole lecture!!! Sure, the topic was kind of boring but hearing how excited he was talking about GIS systems and how he plotted video stores in toronto last summer - yeah, that was worth waking up for. Went down to Eaton's centre to exchange some stuff... and get my shoes repaired, which the guy did for free "because I have style"... haha.. he changed the elastic strap and polished and shined them!!! I love being a girl. And now I'm talking to Pat who has bought his tickets for his Toronto trip. I miss that boy! I haven't been able to talk to him lately cuz it's been crazy here as well as where he is and also because he's a lazy lout who doesn't pick up the phone spontaneously. what is up with that? Boys will never call just on a whim. It's silly.
Speaking of boys... hehehehehhe... I am happy to say that the last guy, I bumped into him yesterday and wasn't attracted to him in the least!! *sigh of relief* Still love hanging out with him but it was odd - I can't believe I didn't really want to hang out with him for awhile since I thought I would still be attracted to him and it'd be difficult... but nope! I'm cured! And now it's on to my stupid marketing geography assignment... my ass #2 for the course... as in pain in my ass. If my T.A. wasn't so cute I don't think I'd be putting any effort into it at all.
Onto current world events... Ipoh, Malaysia (my dad's hometown) has apparently outlawed hand-holding... haha... I think they're trying to make it even more difficult for my two older girl cousins who the whole family is trying to marry off, to get married. Ahhh, Ipoh... how I love their laws - with nothing better to do than fish, they make silly laws that make those who were already finding it tough to find boys even tougher. Other topics... Monkeypox in the U.S. Hmm. Did they have nothing better to call it? And here's the best part - apparently it's spread by dogs and rats... not monkeys. I know I know, I have friends who are American but seriously... monkeys have taken enough of the blame for human diseases.. and speaking of Americans, I love it how President Bush has said that he will 'unveil' the weapons of mass destruction that they found in Iraq but until now had forgotten to mention it to the media or the public... or even their own armed forces!
