Pramila (our mom) and Prahlad (our Dad) were originally from Nagpur, a winter capital of Maharashta, a state in India.  After marriage, they moved around as and where dad's work took them.   From whatever we can remember it started with Nagpur, then Raipur then Jabalpur then Katni then Sagar then Ujjainf . . .

Ujjain was the place where we all grew up and did our schooling.  All we can say is that for a small family of ours, the education was the foremost emphasis.   Father always said, (if you did not study) the only thing you will end up doing is manual labour. . .

This picture above is the last era of black & white where all the siblings went to a photo studio and got the picture taken.  The image is close to our heart as it shows little Balu.   The  below image is the colored version of the same along with the additions and extensions to the family. . .
