but me<br> You keep me at home and in the dark<br> while you go out on the town and leave your mark<br> Do you think I don't know what you do<br> when I look in your eyes I see the truth<br> With all these selfish games you play<br> it is my love that you betray<br> Two can play this game you see<br> the one who will be playing tonight will be me<br> Tonight I will go out and roam<br> looking for the attention I'm not getting at home,<br> If you don't want me someone else will<br> Because tonight I will be the one getting their fill<br> The hand you delt with the games that you play<br> now it always be true<br> As time went by I soon found out<br> the love you thought you had for me<br> You began to doubt<br> You say that she is everything you have<br> ever needed and more<br> When the only woman you will ever need<br> is walking out the door<br> Taking with her your future and your past<br> The children you will long to love and hold<br> as time begins to pass<br> The love for me you thought was dead and gone<br> now burns within your soul<br> Like a bush engulfed in flames burning out of control<br> as you look into her eyes what do you see?<br> When she kisses and caresses you<br> how you wish it were me<br> The butterflies no longer there<br> and all the chills are gone<br> Now you sit and ask yourself " what have I done?"<br> The woman you thought was everything<br> of all your lying<br> and now I'm done with all my crying<br> I'm not going to sit here anymore<br> and watch you walk in and out the door<br> Coming and going as you please<br> letting you make a fool of me<br> I am stronger now than I was then<br> and I can see this is the end<br> The line has been drawn and the stakes are high<br> When I ask how you feel, you tell me a lie<br> Although I'm a woman in love<br> I can leave when I choose<br> You're just a part of my life I never wanted to lose<br> The time has come for me to go<br> and I know that I'll be fine<br> We both know it was you
