Hi !!! My name is Shiang Yang. I am currently doing postgraduate studies (Masters in Engineering) with the National University of Singapore. Well in this home page you may find a couple of engineering links that may be useful to electronics engineers out there. In addition. you will find lots of chinese orchestra stuff too... so hope you will enjoy surfing my homepage !!!
My
Hobbies
Basically
I spend a great deal of time in my
orchestra. It is sort of like
a second home to me. I have been playing the pipa since
13... quite a long time... but my skills are not really fantastic.
Do check out my orchestra's homepage, as it offers a great deal of comprehensive
information, ranging from the types of chinese classical instruments, the
history of the orchestra, the concerts we will be staging.... blah blah....
& many more!!!
Apart
from spending time in the orchestra, I would do some swimming or jogging
for relaxation.
Work Scope
I am
currently doing postgraduate studies (Master in Engineering) with the National
University of Singapore. My research area is in microelectronics,
working on sub-micron devices at Chartered
Semiconductor Manufacturing (CSM). In fact, I had just obtained
my B.Eng (Hons), upon the completion of my final year research in the
Ohmic contacts to InGaAs compound semiconductor. Previously, during
my industrial attachment @ Institute of
Microelectronics , my research area was related to accelerated electromigration
study.
Growing Up
I grew
up under a typical Singapore education system. That means Ihave been
studying for the past 17 years (except those NS days). Below
are some links to my alma mater..... Yah ...
not forgetting to thank allthe teachers who have taught me before.
