ROCKEFELLER PARK
One semester, a week before I was to turn in my final portfolio, someone stole all the negatives that I had shot that term from my locker. I kept them in a photo-paper envelope, and the thief must have thought he was stealing paper. Needless, to say, I had to shoot an entire, well-thought-out portfolio and print it in a week’s time. I headed up to Cleveland to visit my brother and begged him to show me interesting places to shoot. He suggested Rockefeller Park. This park used to be very beautiful and had different sections set-aside for each culture that was represented in Cleveland's people. Nowadays it is dilapidated and sad looking, especially on the rainy day I was there. While I was scolded for having shot my entire portfolio at one place on 4 rolls of film, I was still given a B+.
