Granny
12-21-98
With your loving arms to embrace
And your caring and abiding grace
The simple things you do
Even when the hours in the day are few
You are a mother, grandmother and Great-Granny
You’ve molded us and watched us grow
Not giving into our pouting, keeping the ‘leather whip’ handy.
Your discipline was not too harsh, sometimes letting it go.
Your daughters are all grown up now.
And your grand-daughters have too.
Your great-grandchildren greet you with a smile
We all love you to come by for a visit with you
Thank You Granny, for always understanding.
And Thank You especially for caring
Not enough words written can express
How much you have brought us Love and Happiness.
