Snow At Grandma
& Papa’s
Nov. 19, 2000
The ground covered
in white
Seeing snow up
at the house, what a sight.
The log cabin
sat silent and alone.
This was where
we called Grandma & Papa’s home.
There have been
snows here before
But this one
meant so much more.
The snows’ that
usually fall
Bring about flakes
and accumulation so small.
This was the
nineteenth day of November.
And a wonderful
day to remember.
‘Twas the Sunday
before Thanksgiving Day.
The day the snow
fell up at Grandma & Papa’s place.
