Coruscant: episode #2 The Quique
Luke stared at Riana. Luke says, “Why? Tell him I’ll be there in a couple minutes. I have to do something quick.” Riana nodded and walks away. Riana knocks on Anakin’s door. Anakin looked up at the sound and answered with, “come on in.” Anakin says, “Riana! Where is Luke? Did you not tell him to come here? It’s urgent, Riana. I can’t risk anyone knowing except him and his apprentice.” Riana looks up with a surprised look on her face. “Of course I told him, Master. (Of course Riana is not his servant, but all Jedi Masters are referred to as “Master.”) “He said he had to do something, but he’ll be over as soon as he can.” Anakin nodded and waved Riana away. He could become impatient sometimes...a bit of his dark self left over. Anakin thought of his ex-wife and his two children, after clearing his mind using his special relaxation technique. Luke sighed. “I guess I’ve done as much as I can. I don’t like this....there is a great disturbance....” He got up and slowly worked his way over to his fathers living quarters. Luke says, (as soon as he sets foot in his father’s living room), “father, what’s up?” “Luke, I...there is a danger...a disturbance in the force...some younger Jedi, (I consider all Jedi under the age of 35 young) who are in great danger. You see, they have set up a store, a headquarters for the Jedi on their planet. They keep the fact that they’re Jedi a secret. Some people of a certain league mean to kill them and I don’t doubt that they don’t have access to this. They are of the Quique League...they must be stopped. You must not let those Jedi know you are a Jedi yourself....they are not our Jedi, but are of the Old Republic....they have been tricked before....so they won’t be likely to trust you if you tell them you are. (Which of course you are.) Luke stared at Anakin in surprise. “How do you know this?” “ Because , my dear boy, I had not gotten to them in my ashamed destruction of the rest of the Jedi. I overheard them Quique’s plan and figured they would take care of them and....that time they planned is now. You and your apprentice must go, alone...some Jedi are tied to the Quique league. I am not sure as of yet which ones. And, Luke, you must do this right now with no delay.” Luke bowed to his father. “Of course.” With that, he took off at a run to find his apprentice, he now needed to find her more then ever. Meanwhile, a couple of apprentices were talking .....when the apprentice Riana burst in..... Until next time!
