Mr. Idiot Stories: (Kathy) episode #8 Follow the Summoner of Clay Hill and accept his offer.
Since it’s getting mighty dark outside, you basically have no other choice but to take the Summoner of Clay Hill up on his offer. He calls out, “Gryvon!” Suddenly the figure by the lights is now revealed to you. He walks over to the Summoner of Clay Hill. The figure says, “Dad, who is this.” (For short call the Summoner of Clay Hill just the Summoner.) The Summoner says, “This my boy is Kathy Jones. Your future wife.” You’re about to protest, but you keep quiet. The Summoner continues, “Kathy, this is my boy, Gryvon. So what do you think of each other?” Gryvon says, “She’s beautiful!” You don’t say anything. You can’t really see what he looks like because of the shadows cast on his face from the sky growing darker each minute. Now it is like pitch black outside. You have a strange sense of security being with Gryvon and his dad, that is. Gryvon seems to be pleasant and everything. Now you have a new boyfriend, Kathy, you think to yourself. Gryvon is the first boyfriend you’ve ever had. You come to a dark place in the woods. You still are not sure what’s happened to you. One moment you were in a tunnel along with a cave and the next you find yourself here. Weird, huh! As you, Gryvon, and the Summoner set up camp, you suddenly have this urge to be home. Most often they call this homesickness. You suddenly have this urge to go to the bathroom. You ask Gryvon where the closest one form there is. He tells you that since it’s pitch black out, you can go in the bushes. What! You’ve never heard of such a thing. Maybe he just wants to watch you. You want to wake up to find that this is all just a horrible nightmare, but alas, such is not the case. You bounce back into reality and go behind a bush. You decide that Gryvon is acting too friendly toward you to be safe. (You even miss James & Shirley). You see a path and start running on it, making sure not to break a twig to summon Gryvon. You keep running. You’re really tired now from running all night. You catch sight of dawn’s first light. You almost fall over because you are so exhausted. You see a group of houses clustered together. In the distance, way back yonder you can hear Gryvon and the Summoner’s voices. They’ll never find you there, you think to yourself and smile. Suddenly, you must fall asleep so you do, and just before you do, you see some people running towards you. You wonder whatever for. You’re too tired to think now. Kathy! Pull yourself together! The townspeople are coming at you with ropes. “What happens next is always a crucial question.” Your answer to that greatly depends on your next choice. (You should know that by now!!!!) You know the procedure: 1. let them haul you away 2. try to use your last bit you strength to jump up. back to main page
