Mr. Idiot Stories: (Missy) episode #6 Follow the Shadow You manage to find a way to trace the shadow back to the person who made it. You see that this shadow of a person is trying to tell you something. You follow this person out of the house. After you are out in broad daylight, you demand for this person to tell you certain things you are still puzzled over, such as how did this person know where you were and how did Mr. Idiot get in the house when he was traveling the exact opposite way. You ask these questions to this man now standing before you. (You know the shadow was a man because he was revealed to you when you went outside.) This strange new friend of yours starts off by introducing himself to you. “I’m Gryvon,” he says. “I followed Mr. Idiot because I was suspicious of him. I absolutely knew he was up to no good. We’d better run before Mr. Idiot’s discovered that you’ve escaped. (You start running onto another trail with this man called Gryvon. AS you two are running, Gryvon is talking to you.) Anyway, Gryvon continues, “a gwythaint flying in the sky saw you and then told Mr. Idiot where you were headed. The bird just picked up Mr. Idiot and carried him to that house. I followed by jumping on my horse. I beat the gwythaint and Mr. Idiot. I understand gwythaint language, so when the gwythaint told Mr. Idiot where they were going, I took off after them. Then I hid and then you came and you know the rest of the story.” When Gryvon stops speaking, you say, “But why did you care what happened to me.” Gryvon says, “because you’re beautiful and I just couldn’t help myself. I was wandering, would you like to go out with me.” “Wait a second,” you say, “you don’t even know my name yet. I’ll give it you. I’d appreciate it if you’d call me by it when you’re talking to me. My name is Kathy (then you give your last name out, too.)” “All right, then, Kathy, what’s your answer?” You have been running for a while. So has Gryvon. You’re both exhausted and you both fall asleep. Kathy, what are you going to do when you wake up? 1. Say yes to Gryvon and go out 2.
