Qui-Gon Jinn
Qui-Gon is a Jedi Master. He is Obi-Wan's master. He once heard of a legend called "The Legend of the Chosen One". He has long since given this up, as he took on Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is an older Jedi, but one that is well respected. He would be on the Council, but he doesn't go by the rules often enough. He really had no desire to be on the Council.
