Mr. Idiot Stories: (Leslie) episode #9 Say Yes Part 1 You stand there a moment, looking off in space...Suddenly, the fact that two people are staring at you and are waiting for an answer from you, somewhat impatiently. You say, “Yes, I am willing to accept the chance of being a spy.” You glance around to look at the two faces, which happen to be in the same room as you are now presently in. Ashka smiles at you and the man with the black mask seems to be pleased with your decision, although you can’t really tell because of the mask. You still have absolutely no idea who the man in the black even is. Then this same man speaks (of course he’s’ the only man in the room but that’s besides th point.) He says, “I am glad you accept. First, since you will be a spy for me, you should know whom you’re spying for. So I will give you my name. You must not tell anyone what it is. Here it is. It is Anakin Skywalker. Pronounced An-a-kin Skywalker. I’m disguised as Darth Vader (as he says this, you notice he is giving a wink at Ashka.) I need to be in disguise so the other side doesn’t recognize me. After you are done with two spying outings, you will have earned the right to wear a spy-persons uniform. Then I will tell you of your quest after your first adventure. So, girl please report back to me every morning of every thing that happens. I must know if our plan is to survive. by the way, you are very beautiful. If you accept me, we may be married. I must warn you of the other side. They are rebelling against us. They are mean and awful and their plan will not survive. Do you agree to everything I have said above?” “Yes,” you say, “I Kathy agree to help you, handsome.” “Great,” he says, “You’re off and on your way for your first spying adventure. Report back to me at dawn and you will learn of your quest.” You say, “Yes, Anakin, I promise to come back, sir.” At this time you get up and leave. Ashka calls after you to act like you want to stay the night with them and act nice to all the people and try to find out about the rebellion. You hurry on off to the town that Mr. Skywalker told you to start in. AS you approach it, you feel like this is the greatest job you’ve ever had. You don’t even think of Mr. Idiot at this point in time. You go up to a few people that you notice and pretend that you’re lost. Before you came up to them you heard them talking about what a traitor Vader was. Then the other man says, “didn’t Vader die?” The other one says, “Yes. He did.” (Oh, no, you think to yourself. Anakin is not going to be successful if Vader died. His plan will fail unless you warn him that Vader’s dead.) Then you move on to another house, each time hearing something different that is vital to the rebellion. Luckily, you brought along your tape recorder to capture all of this knowledge that is now pouring out at you. This goes on all day and all night until it is beginning to be dawn. You begin to head back for the Hidden Cottage with Anakin Skywalker and Ashka both in it. Suddenly, a young man comes up to stop you. He says, “you look exhausted. Come with me to my aunt & uncle’s home. It’s where I live.” But you stand there staring at him. You know you really must head back to Anakin. This boy standing next to you seems suspicious because he has the same name as Anakin (the last name.) Maybe you should report this. And you really should be reporting this back to Ankin...of course, you could always risk going with the boy and finding more info about him to report to Ankin...of course that would risk his anger and you have no idea what he would do to you if you did.
