The Edge

Enveloped by darkness
my body trembles
my voice screams
my soul searches
begging for more
pushing myself
Until I see that edge
looking over it
barely able to hang on
Until I feel you
your strong hands
pulling me back
I feel your kiss
lightly upon my forehead
I hear you whisper
"its ok angel"
I smile softly
and know that it is!
