BROKEN HEART

She sits in her room, feeling so alone
How could her heart have been so wrong?
She passed up love so many times
Waiting for her perfect guy
He made her believe that he still cared
And now her pain is too much to bear
She's sick of pretending that things are just fine
This has happened to her too many times
She treasures his friendship, but is hoping for more
But he doesn't even talk to her anymore
She'd do anything just to make him see
How much she cares--how much he means
But she feels so helpless, lost and confused
She just doesn't know what she should do
All her hope is slowly falling apart
He left her with a broken heart
She shouldn't have gotten so attached
But it's too late now--she can't turn back
She looks at his picture, remembering how sweet he once was,
But it's all over now--she's lost his love
She sees no point in continuing on
She's been hurt too much--she'd rather be gone
Her life seems so empty without noone to love
She had no regrets as she swallowed the drugs
As she drifted off into an eternal sleep
Her heart felt finally at peace
She's in a place where she won't hurt anymore
And her perfect man will be hers forevermore....
