She has a tiny rose tattoo
just an inch or so in size
(After years of deliberation
courage finally materalized)
She would be the only person
who would even know it's there.

them to see it, and she shared.

its thorns to show what's past.
The bud is for what's yet to come,
a joyful hope at last.

red for love--a celebration.
