I know I hurt your feelings
I know I made you sad
I know what I did to you, hurt you pretty bad
But I want for you to understand
Where I'm coming from
Because this break-up not only hurt you
It also hurt me some
I brought this upon myself, this I already know
But when I said good-bye, it was hard to let you go
Even though I will miss you
I'm sure it won't be that bad
And I know it won't be long before you are not sad
Though I know these times to get over will be hard and often tough
Things like this to deal with will always seem real rough
I'm leaving you with these thoughts, and I want you to know
That even though you say you love me, you've gotta let me go....
