My name is Rico and I have been a photographer for more years than I care to remember. For the past 20 years I have been fascinated by and have specialised in the challenge of photographing the naked human form. A challenge that was taken up by artists at the dawn of time and continued through the ages by painters, sculptors, carvers and during the past 150 years by photographers.
Like all art forms, Fine Art Figure photography is an expression of the artist. With figure photography, the model also has the opportunity for self expression. It is therefore fair to say that the model contributes equally as much to a photograph as the photographer. In the following pages I have portrayed some examples of the various areas of figure photography that I have been involved in over the past few years. Whether you are a photographer, artist or just an appreciator of the human form, I am sure that you will find something of interest to you. I like to thank all the wonderful ladies that made these photographs possible.
