We decided to brave the crowds of tourists and visit the Queen's residence at Windsor Castle.  When we visited Buckingham Palace the previous summer and a policeman told us that HM was not in, we promised Emma that we would visit her weekend place (where she goes to relax after a hectic week of doing whatever it is she does).

Emma enjoyed looking at the men playing at toy soldiers.

Back in the new house, we are settling in slowly, enjoying the walks in the surrounding countryside.
