Strawberry Ice
1 quart of fresh strawberries pureed.
1 1/2 cups of water
2 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs lemon juice
Put all ingredients in a shallow container and let it stand for a few minutes at
room temperature. Stir the mixture a couple times. Then put it into the freezer for
about an hour... You do not want it completely frozen. Put the semi-frozen
mixture into the kitchenaid and beat till it's fluffy. Then freeze another
hour or so. Beat once again. Put it back into the freezer until it's firm.
Makes 6-8 servings.
Strawberry Banana Frosty
1 Cup Strawberries
1 Banana
1 Cup milk
2 tsp vanilla
2 TBS sugar
1/2 Cup crushed ice
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend till smooth and frosty
Strawberry Smoothie
1 cup strawberries
1 cup milk
1 or 2 TBS sugar
1 tsp pineapple juice
1 cup crushed ice
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend till smooth
Fondue
12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
3/4 Cup light cream
combine chocolate and cream in top of a double boiler. Heat
over meadium heat till melted. Pour into the fondue pot. Serve
with whole strawberries, chunks of banana and angel food cake or
green grapes as 'dippers'
