This seems to become the biggest of our pages, because most of our cool photos are from our latest trips. At the end of August 1999, we travelled to St. Petersburg, the "nothern capital" of Russia, home of the Russian royal dynasty, founded by Peter the Great. The most intersting trips of the last couple years were in some way related to our endless engagement and fairytale weddings. Our engagement honeymoon in France (June/July 1998) coincided with the World Cup (Kevin -- are you sure it was a coincidence?), so we had a chance to celebrate with about 20 million football fans of all nationalities. This trip took us to the south of France, to one of the best wine-growing regions. Forget Provence - when planning your dream trip to the south of France, select Languedoc-Rousseillon!
After our church wedding in Kiev (October 7, 1998), we took a long weekend to run away from Kiev's cold weather to the magical mosques of Istanbul.
Please check out the recent updates from Kiev's cultural and nightlife. THIS IS A COOL CITY! Live jazz, new night clubs, hip hot and hoppin'! One of the recent excitements was when our friends organized a rock n' roll band named "Speeding Lisa", widely advertised in central newspapers of the city. Check them out soon at a club near you!!
