Shining Stars

                                      Each path we take in life,
                                     Is like a galaxy of stars,
                                      Passing by within time,
                                         Shining from afar.

                                 We know not always how or why,
                               The pathway gives out good and bad,
                                  But, one special star within the sky,
                                 Creates a friendship and begins a tie.

                               A star that shines like a sapphire gem,
                            Illuminating the path and showing the way,
