Serenity

Sounds of waterfalls, birds singing,gentle quiet breezes through the trees,and sometimes the gentle sound of raindrops falling on the leaves. Here is where I often go,lost in a world with nature and all her many treasures she has to offer. I could spend days lost in these surroundings. Come join me and leave behind all the hustle and worries of daily life. A place where time seems to stop and stand still.

Favorite memories

This tells a little about me. I have raised three boys and two stepchildren, one which is 13. Although I live in a small town, I grew up in the country and these are some of my favorite things that I so often miss. Maybe you too have some fond memories like these.

Fresh cut grass in the spring.
Sound of a soft gentle rain.
The smell of pines trees as a breeze passes through them.
Freshly turned earth from the plow.
Long walks through the fields of flowers and corn.
Crisp air in the fall.
The smell of wood burning on a cool autumn day.
Homemade bread
Crickets chirping on a moonlite night.
Turkey and dressing sending it's fragrance from the kitchen oven.
Country breeze blowing through my hair.
Not worrying about the next door neighbor.
Watching the deer roam through the fields.
The squirrels jumping from tree branch to tree branch.
Homemade candy and jelly.
Fresh linen hung from the clothesline.
Horseback riding through meadows and streams.

My Hobbies and Work

I spend much of my time at various things besides trying to raise a family.I enjoy doing woodworking and have always been self dependent. Here are some of my woodworking that I have done.I also like computers,making cosmetics,fragrances,herbal lotions,reading, sewing, painting and any project that gives a challenge.
