Yes, it's true. I am the proud owner of an Apple computers Power PC G3 iMac. I, and thousands of Americans like me. You may be thinking, "iMac... why Mac?". Well, that is what this page is all about.

• Apple is consistently innovative. The Macintosh was the first computer to feature a visual (bit mapped) interface. Desktops, icons, and windows were all Apple ideas. Other idea that Apple lead the pack with include Speech Recognition, integrated hardware and software, external peripherals, portable computing, and innovative product appearance. Apple's current commitment to innovation continues in it's embrace of new USB and Fire Wire connections. It's called "Plug and Play", which means you can plug and unplug add-on's at will. Plug and Play is hot, and the others are scrambling to keep up.
• Macs are user friendly. Click, Drag and Drop. The Mac is that simple. Most functions on the Mac can be completed with a simple click or two. Sure, you have to learn a few things about the computer, but all in all the Mac is easy and fun to drive. Best of all, there is more than one way to do most things, so you can choose the way that is easiest for you.
• Macs have personality. Well, not a personality of their own, but they begin to take on your personality as you use them. And since all people are different, Macs can become highly individual. Take my personalized Superman® desktop for example. There's not another one like it, and I LOVE it! As your Mac begins to reflect your likes and dislikes, you tend to really develop a fondness for your computer.
• Compatibility and Usability. I know, you think of the PC when it comes to compatibility. But try this on for size, the Mac can read and write to DOS formatted media. This includes the popular Zip disk. In addition to reading the media, you will find the Mac can deal with most Windows files all by it's self. That's a feature you just don't find on Wintel PCs.
• "It's more fun to be a pirate than it is to join the Navy."- Apple iCEO Steve Jobs. Who wants to be a part of the river of mindless masses who never even stop to consider the alternative computing existance. Macs are fast, durable, and flexible. And, they run contrary to mass-culture. Who doesn't want to do that?
