Acceptance

Acceptance without understanding is the most valuable gift we can give one another.
I have seen many people in my career in law enforcement
and I have come to believe that we as police
should guide and support those who neeed help.
while at the same time instilling a self confidence in themselves
to eradicate the fear so prevelient in our culture.

aceptance without understanding may be ....FAITH.
Can we have faith in our fellow human who share this world with us.
I have seen , smelled, felt, and remember the worse crime scenes
I have been to, they will not leave me.
I go forward and I look up to my future
and try to see only all the new friends i'll meet
and share bits of my soul with.

When I am gone with the wind I hope my memories
include all those people who have touched my soul
to the point that you would wish time would stand still
at that instant. Is acceptance without understanding FAITH.
And with all the cultures and religions of the world Do you see ONE FAITH.

I hope some day you do.
