how do you know when you are in love

how do you know you are in love? do you know? have you ever thought about it ?i do,i think of just how i would know,so i asked the one women i knew would know, was my grandmother(witch we lost last year), she was a very wise woman that had been married to the same man,for over 40 years,so if any one could tell me about love i thought she could, and this is what she told me
she said,you will know when you worry about that person, how thay feel , how thay cry how thay laugh, when you care about that person more than you care about any one else in the world,and when you care about them much more than you care about your self,,,when you give your self,to them,,despite your own wants,,,and do it willingly,,,,and not just for a day,but for all your days,,she said "then you will know the real meaning of love,,,
i think of it alot now,,and what she has told me, is there really such a thing as she speaks of,,,,does any one really feel that way?? if so i want it, dont you? i can look around and see so many familys torn apart,,why is that?
could it be thay dont have them feelings towards thier loved one,,,,or maybe thay just have not,ask the question,,,,,,"how do you know when your love will last?" and once you do find your love that will last,,how can you be sure? i guess there is no way of really knowing,,,all you can do is live it for your self,,,and hope and pray,and do all you can for your love,so thay will feel the same about you,,keep love in your harts,,,for each other,,,
some have said , but it is so hard,,,i dont see that, for if you could feel,and do as my grandmother has said, i think it will come easy, for love should not be crying, pain, days of torment, but instead joy and happenss for both you and your love, if you share the things my grandmother speaks of, what a wonderful life you could live, and
