"Beautiful"

The fields are pretty this time of year.
They are getting ready for harvest.
Corn yellow as the sun, tomatoes
red as fire, cucumbers firm ready to be
picked. Cabbage purple as a bruise,
turnip greens; green as the grass
around the garden.
Flowers bloomed beautifully this time
of year yellow, pink , and blue.
Breath taking isn't it?
House up on the hill with a fresh coat
of paint with red shutters, cows in the
fields grazing without a care in the
world. Pigs in pin rolling around
in the mud squealing.
Then off in a distance I hear giggling.
I walk down the long winding path
where I find the children playing
ring around the rosie and hide-n-seek.
They are so happy with their smiles
and laughter sent from heaven. I then
join them in their little games until
it was dark.
We all then headed home and
promised to pick up where we once
left off.
