End Of Summer

Sean stepped out of the car which wasn't easy. It was packed to the limit with his stuff. xxxxxxxx- I feel bad 'bout leaving you here! But it looks nice so... xxxxxxxx- Don't worry Mom! I'll be okay. His Dad started unloading. xxxxxxxx- Okay son! Let's get your things moved up to your room. They entered his room on the 2nd floor of the dorm and saw the place he was going to live for the following years. There were no bed as he had been told. In the hall he met two fellows. They laughed knowingly when he told them and helped him carry a sofa bed up from the cellar. Sean doubted he would ever fall asleep in that. His Mom couldn't find the towels and linnen. xxxxxxxx- They haven't had that for years now, he told her. xxxxxxxx- ...the two guys told me. And theres no dinners execpt for those you xxxxxxxx- cook yourself in our kitchen! She looked surprised. He assured her again that he would be okay. He would eat dinner at the school cantina. When it was time for them to go he walked them to the car. xxxxxxxx- Don't be a stranger. Your hear! This is your new home but you'll xxxxxxxx- always have a home at our home. You know that! His Dad gave him a bear hug. His Mom stroked his hair. xxxxxxxx- Call us! And come visit us in the weekends! Bye! He waved as they drove away. When he came back up to his room it hit him. He was alone. He was on his own. He felt sad and exited at the same time. It was so quiet in here. He rigged up the stereo and put on some music.
