Confusion settles in
I no longer know
What to do.
I want to be with him
But he does not
Love me anymore.
I cannot sit
Tearful and lonely
Night after night.
So why do I feel guilt
When I let another hold me?
I want to cry
When his lips touch mine
Because he is not
The one that I want.
What can I do?
He is not here
He will never be back.
So I must go on
I'm just not sure how.
