The ocean beckons me
Drawing me closer
With it's blue shining waves.
Boats dot it's surface
Going out towards the horizon
Where the sky is a jewel toned blue
Studded with lazy white clouds.
Taking the landscape and turning it
Into a painting
Evening approaches.
Sunset comes
Turning blue to pink and orange
It blazes across the water
Showing a trail to heaven
Where the sun meets the water
