Speechless

I look at him
And I want
To know his touch
I admire from a distance
Afraid to get too close
My shyness rendering
Me mute
I see him smile
And I desire
His kiss
Happy with his friendship
But wishing
For so much more
Quietly I watch
Hoping he will catch
The look in my eyes
Seeing what I am afraid
To say.
