Raspberry Molasses
Raspberry molasses and honeysuckle tears
Mixed with some sea foam and trench coated fears
Swim in this life's pool with marshmallow floats
Digress like a candlestick maker in a leaky old boat
Words are the freedom of cylindrical lives
Silence the Frankenstein of desperate wives
Kiss the snake tenderly make it feel loved
Fly on the back of a huge turtle dove
Whatever manner of verse I write here
Is a million times better than an unspoken fear
As we enter the course of translucent words
And fly in the breeze with now spoken words
