No Muscles in My Heart
Put me in irons,
I'm sure to bend them---
Pit Christians gainst lions,
And I can defend them.
I'm a man of steel on the field,
But with you, I do nothing but yield.

Give me a guy who's my size,
My holds  will tear him apart---
But with you I cower,
I lose all my power---
I got no muscles in my heart.

Give me some weights I can lift,
Each pound is more like an ounce;
But with you I linger
And can't lift a finger---
I got no muscles where it counts.

When you say, "I'll see you tonight,"
I find I'm shouting, "Oh, boy!"---
But as soon as you come into sight,
All at once I'm the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Bet me to win in all sports,
I'm out in front from the start,
But with you I'm flustered,
I tremble like custard---
I got no muscles in my heart.
